Research Podcast

 The audio only podcast I decided to research this week is Crime Junkie by audio-chuck. Crime Junkie is a weekly true crime podcast that is dedicated to giving you the "fix". This podcast can be connected to what we have learned in class through communication. Ashley Flowers and Brit are the hosts of this podcast and throughout the episodes they decipher information through communication while discussing facts and information. A perfect example of their communication is the episode "INFAMOUS: What Serial Didn't Tell You" (Flowers, 2018)  because they branch and expand from another podcast. This creates an opportunity to share opinions and can lead to an opening to have a whole different conversation. It can also be seen as interpersonal communication because of the consistent patterns of interaction for an extended period of time (Green 120).
